The concert begins with St. Agnes Cathedral Music Director Michael Bower as the organ soloist in Albinoni’s Adagio, Organ & Strings, G minor, followed by selections from Felix Mendelssohn’s incidental music for Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The concert and season both conclude with the majestic beauty of Jean Sibelius’s Symphony No. 5 in E-flat major, featuring his beloved “swan theme.” Join us for the South Shore Symphony’s season finale, a fitting Summer Swan Song!
